Job Title: Workshop Assistant

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

Pay Rate: £10.75 P/H

Job Description: As a Workshop Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop. Your responsibilities will include deburring, finishing, and completing orders for dispatch, maintaining workshop cleanliness, assisting machinists, and preparing materials for various jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deburring, finishing, and completing orders for dispatch.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
• Assisting machinists in running machines (under supervision).
• Preparing materials for jobs, including cutting and billeting.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
