LINKS recruitment are excited to offer a temp to perm position in a growing manufacturer of gluten free inovotive products.

We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join our team. The Production Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The Role:

The Production Operative is responsible for safely baking the breads / roll dough for oven baking in accordance with Quality, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) whilst working as part of a team to deliver performance results.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

•Baking a variety of products to a required specification, in the correct quantity and in accordance with the quality and food safety standards set.

•Checking and removing products from the proving room and ensuring the breads / rolls have risen correctly.

•Carefully placing the breads / rolls into the ovens whilst monitoring the cooking to ensure correctness, consistency and to specification.

•Carefully removing breads / rolls from the ovens and transferring to the cooling racks with batch / traceability information, followed by moving to the cooling racks into the cooling room.

•Must check product quality during manufacturing process to ensure that there are no foreign bodies entering product.

•Responsible for ensuring all the relevant documentation including CCP (critical control point) checks, quality checks, and any other relevant checks are completed accurately and on time.

•Completing planned cleaning on time and in accordance with the cleaning schedule.

•Keeping your work area clean and hygienic using CAYG (clean as you go)

•Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all company policies and procedures.

•Working in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

•Hygiene & Food Safety level 2 – This will be provided.

•Must have basic hygiene knowledge.

•Must be able to work in hot conditions.

•Must be able to identify acceptable quality products.

•Must be trained on HACCP and critical control points (if working on CCP allocated task) – This will also be provided.

•Maintain a high level of attention to detail.

•Must have excellent communication skills.

Shifts/Hours

Hours: 45 hours per week

Sunday – 10:00am – 18:00pm

Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs 6:00am – 16:00pm
